Taylor sat in his room staring at the ceiling, his alarm clock flashing 1:00 A.M.. Wiping his tear-streaked face, he thought to himself, "It's my fault Peter left. I was never good enough to make him happy, anyways. He is better off without me."
Taking his 3rd sleeping pill, Taylor nestled his face into his damp pillow.
"I will never be happy without him, but it's fine as long as Peter is happy without me." Taylor finally drifted into an uneasy sleep, which was his first time sleeping in 4 days.
Waking up to his alarm, Taylor opened his eyes and felt the hard rock in his torn soul weigh himself down. Tears clouded his vision and he reached for his blade, which had become his friend in the past few days. Hesitating, his hand hovering over the tempting knife, Taylor retracted his hand and left the room. He already had enough scars to bear.

*Peter's Pov*
Peter sat on the edge of his bed, his wet face resting in his hands.
"I only hurt Taylor when I was trying to protect him. I still love him beyond the moon and back, but I have to protect him."
Grabbing the wretched paper off his desk, Peter examined it for the millionth time. The yellowed page had the printed words, "I will beat Taylor to a pulp if you don't break up with him. You have my word :) Also, if you mention this note, you will never see him again."
"Why us? Why did they target us of all people?! I wish I could destroy whoever did this."
