*WARNING* This one has cutting and suicide. DONT EVER try this for yourself. It's not worth it.

Adam sat in the bathroom stall, depressed. With a tear-streaked face, he lowered a blade to his malnourished thigh. A week earlier, he had salvaged it from a broken pencil sharpener. With a few strokes of his arm, he made thin red cuts in his skin. After a moment, beads of scarlet blood oozed from the cuts. Pain came from each stroke, but it felt relieving to Adam. With a sigh, he set his blade down and reached into his pocket for his phone. Since he was out of paper, Adam decided to text his only friend a farewell as an alternative.

Chris, you are the only one that had helped me through troubles. Don't blame yourself for what you will find out soon. It was all me. I just can't handle this anymore. I'm not a fighter, and this is my only escape from the darkness. Its good I'm gone, since nobody will have to deal with me anymore. Goodbye, friend.

Adam reached into his backpack for his father's gun that he had smuggled into the school.
"This is it. The time has come for everybody to be rid of me. They will be happy I'm gone," Adam said to the nearly-empty bathroom. He raised it to his head, ready to pull the trigger.

*Chris's POV*

Chris got a notification from Adam on his phone. Chris was surprised that Adam actually texted him, which usually never happens. The second he read it, Chris burst out of his classroom, to the bewilderment of his teacher. Chris knew exactly where Adam would be: the bathroom. Adam usually hung out there to be alone. Chris sprinted through the corridor, wheeling around the corner towards the bathroom.
"ADAM!" Chris hollered.
"ADAM, NO!"
Chris saw Adam with a gun poised at his head, and without thinking, dove towards him and tackled him so he wouldn't shoot himself.
Nevertheless, a gunshot rang out, the sound echoing loudly in the tiled bathroom.
"C-Chris?" Adam called. A blood puddle spread across the floor.
A-Adam?" Chris sputtered before his eyes clouded over, and he was still. Dark blood seeped out between Chris's lips.
