At first, I was new
Didn't know where I belonged
Ignorant of the dew
So often I was wrong.
      I felt I was alone
      So isolated,
      It was soon dark all around
      And I just waited.
      Then I saw.....

You were the light in the dark of the night
You were the peace at the end of the fight
I looked high up and saw stars in the sky
And you were the one shining ever so bright.
       I just got starstruck
       I just got shocked up
       I just got all blue
       I just got starstruck by you.

I just stood there
Locked at what I saw
And I just didn't care
Even though I had one big flaw.
      I knew I wasn't the only one
      It seemed complicated,
      Standing there wasn't fun
      But life is sophisticated.
      For all I knew was.....

Who cares about the future
Forget about the past
Live in the present
Though I don't know if it'll last.
No one else right now in the world to see
This moment just brings you and me.
Just look me in the eye
There comes a breeze,
I don't know if I'll melt or freeze
All I know is....
