"The heart wants what the heart wants
We often don't have control,
Like fire it burns to achieve it all;
Till the heart itself goes cold."

The eyes see what they want to perceive
We follow but that we shouldn't,
Dark truths of life hidden behind those lids;
Things, innocence thought it knew but didn't.

The mind processes what it wants to comprehend
Veils of ignorance lifted off,
Uncovering that which man cannot understand;
That what makes the foolish scoff.

The hands touch what they want to feel
Sense of which cannot be explained,
Desires are strange, unfathomable beliefs;
That thrive within, in the soul constrained.
