|7|Stuck

There's dark and there's light,
There's day and there's night,
There's a glow and there's a shadow,

There's a smile and there's a fight.

Sometimes I wonder why the world cries,

Sometimes I think why she denies,

But then I give up thinking

'Cause I know there's no use hoping.

I'm stuck in between times.

I'm stuck in between worlds,

I don't care if it doesn't rhyme.

I'm just stuck.......no words.

There's a laugh and there's hurt,

There's death and there's birth,

There are skies and there's the ground,

There's one lost and there's one found.

Sometimes, I think about why,

Sometimes, when I see them cry,

I arise, proceed and stop!

'Cause I don't know if there's success on top.

I'm stuck in between times.

I'm stuck in between worlds,

I don't care if it doesn't rhyme.

I'm just stuck.......no words.

But it hurts to see them hate,

But it hurts to see them hurt,

It hurts to see them down,

It hurts to see them drown.

I slap myself and stand,

I force myself to land

Next to them and heal

Their broken hearts and feel.....

Not so stuck in between times,

Not so stuck in between worlds,

Now, I want to make them rhyme,

I'm not so stuck.........anymore.

Hi everyone,

This is a poem about what people in general may feel about the world. There's so much suffering, so much negativity, so much hatred in this world. Many people are ready to help others but stop themselves the minute they're about to lend a helping hand, either because something wants them to think about themselves or because they know that "helping" is not really easy.

But that's the point-going out of our  comfort zone to comfort others. The joy it brings-priceless! And then, even the most senseless things in the universe start making sense. 

So, go on then, dear readers, you're beautiful people who can bring beauty to another's life. Let's not be stuck anymore!
