It was just a normal day for you. Actually this is what you thought but you were wrong. You stood in the front of the school waiting for your boyfriend Aiden like you always do.
He was later than normal but you didn't think anything of it. You just figured that he was running late or something so you waited a few more minutes for him.
You waited and waited and waited. Still nothing. You started to get anxious. So you picked up your phone and called him. No answer. So you called Ethan.
"Hello?"
"Hey Ethan where is Aiden?"
"We need to talk ok? I will meet you at your house in 15 minutes."
With that he hung up. You got in your car and drove to your house. When you got home Ethan was sitting on the front porch.
" So umm Rachel.." Ethan starts " Aiden was fighting the Oni and he... he got... umm stabbed with a sword and he didn't make it."
Tears filled your eyes and you just nodded slowly not knowing what to say. You started to think of your first date.
Candles. Flowers. Delicious food. Everything that night was so perfect. You loved Aiden so much and you didn't know what you were going to do with yourself anymore.
You missed Aiden so much all ready. You hugged Ethan and continued to cry into his shoulder. It was a rough night for you.
