When Dayu's mother saw the bittersweet reunion between Dayu and Qing, she couldn't contain her tears, and she couldn't even speak so she quietly opened the door and slipped out.
Dayu was still crying into Qing's shoulders; pouring his relief out, gripping Qing so tight even after some minutes.
"Shhh....I'm here now love..." and Qing continued to whisper soothing words to calm Dayu down.
He had had a rough day, finishing the tasks set in each pit stop to get the 'Get In' passes, and he's tired and almost worn out. But, now, from the look of things Dayu had had a rough day too.
They both really wasn't ready to be separated today. And then with no contact between them until now; it took a toll on them both.
"I'm here now.." Qing whispered, kissing Dayu's temple and forehead repeatedly.
It was only after some more minutes, that Dayu finally calmed down enough, and his tears began to subside.
Qing drew away a little too look at Dayu, "aiyaaa...I'm the one who had done all the physical works; why are you the one who looked like a mess.?" He teased as he wiped Dayu's tears away.
Dayu is a strong man. He rarely cries, but when it comes to Qing, it's beyond his control.
And he'd been worrying all day about Qing. Not being able to call Qing and ask about how he's doing, was pure torture.
They'd been apart for days and even weeks, before, but they always knew where each other were and what they're doing.
They were never 'forced' to be apart like today. And without any communication at all. And it's on the next day of their wedding day, on top of that. The day they expected themselves to be together all day.
"So," Qing ruffled Dayu's hair, "do you still like my Ma then?" He asked teasingly.
Dayu looked at Qing, "I do. I know she meant well.." Dayu could see what Qing's mother wanted them to learn from this.
"It's torture..not being able to contact you..and knowing that you'd be put through hardships by my friends. And there's nothing I can do about it. I can't even call you and give you encouragement..." Dayu was still in pain over it, "so..I'll never want to go through that again..never.."
