Summer's POV
I was reading my book when Freddie came up to me.
"Hey Freddie".
"Hey, instead of tutoring at your house, maybe we can tutor at my house".
"Why your house"?
"Because I forgot that I was babysitting my little sister tonight".
"Yeah it's cool".
"Awesome, see you then".
He walked away. FREDDIE JUST INVITED ME TO HIS HOUSE! EEEKK! I'll stop.
Tomika's POV
3 hours until Harvey hits
I went to the parking lot and just my luck. My brothers are picking me up. I went to their car.
"What's up Tomika, you still mad because your grounded", Matt said laughing.
Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. Zack!
"Hey Tomika, you wanna walk with me and Lawrence"?
"Yeah".
"We're your ride though"!
"I rather walk with people who actually care about me".
We were almost to my house and Lawrence was at his house.
"I hate older siblings".
"Tell me about it", Zack said.
"Well, thanks for walking me home".
"Anytime".
I was walking away to my house.
"Wait you dropped your bracelet".
I turned back towards him.
"Why does it keep falling out of my pocket"?
We both bent down and accidentally touched lips. I quickly shot back up and ran to my house.
"TOMIKA WAIT"!
I ran inside and saw my parents furious.
"What"?
"Why didn't you ride home with your brothers"?
"I walked".
"With two boys"?!
I glared at my brothers.
"They're just friends"!
"Don't raise your voice at us young lady"!
"We told you, you can't hang out with boys, they're a bad influence on you, you're already, ugh, skateboarding".
"But-".
"You're ban from seeing them again".
"But-".
"GO TO YOUR ROOM"!
I ran to my brothers crying.
"I HATE YOU GUYS, YOU ARE THE WORST BROTHERS EVER"!
I ran upstairs and slammed my door. I cried into my pillow.
