Freddie's POV
Tomika and I waited in the waiting room. Then Zack came in. We said nothing, he sat down next to Tomika and we waited. The doctor finally said we could go see her.
"You should go see her first", Tomika said to me.
I nodded. I sat next to her and kissed her forehead. She opened her eyes.
"Freddie", she said weakly.
"Summer, you're awake"!
"What do you mean"?
Freddie didn't answer, he only hugged her.
"I'm so glad you're awake".
Zack and Tomika rushed in.
"SUMMER"!
They hugged her as well.
"What's going on"?
"You were in a coma for 2 weeks".
"I was"?
"Do you remember anything that happened"?
"All I remember is walking home, hearing a creaking sound, and then nothing".
"A tree fell on you, if I hadn't come after you, then...".
"Why would a tree even-"?
"There was a hurricane. Hurricane Harvey".
"It was a category 3, it was strong enough to knock down trees", Zack said.
Summer's POV
I can't believe I've been in a coma for two weeks. I looked at Tomika.
"Tomika, why are you so quiet, I thought you would be the happiest to see me awake"?
She glared at me and stormed out.
"Tomika"?
I was starting to get up, when Freddie laid me back down.
"You can't get up, she'll be fine", Zack said.
"But why is she mad at me", I asked.
I could feel tears coming. Freddie pulled me towards his chest and I cried into it.
