Toriel wasn't happy with my decision or my line of work but she gave me a slice of cake, some words of wisdom and I left. I flashed back to Undyne's home, well more to the bedroom,

"Y/N is that you?"

Undynes voice ringed in my ears, I hesitated,

"Yeah I'm home,"

Undyne walked into the bedroom as I changed from my uniform into my usual outfit

"Y/N we need to talk,"

I sat down on the bed and finished buttoning my shirt

"Y/N I'm falling more and more for Alphys with every day that passes, I.... I want to be with her, I really really don't want to do this but I love her y/n,"

My heart thudded against my ribs and I looked down at my hands, I knew this was going to happen but still, it was hard to accept,

"I see,"

I said monotonously, I got up and before Undyne could say anything else I flashed out of the house and to the outside of Grillbys, I shivered from the cold, dammit I forgot my damn jacket. I walked in and warmed up instantly.

I walked over to the bar, sat down and put my head on my arms and ordered a cider, I looked up when Grillby didn't say anything and found him watching me with a confused look, I waved my hand,

"I'll be fine,"

Grillby nodded before putting a cider in front of me, I sipped slowly as I listened to the chatter around me. My mind swirled as painful memories began poking through, tears pricked my eyes but I wiped them away angrily and downed the cider, I ordered another cider along with a shot of Human Tequila. As I sipped on my cider the bar's inhabitants spoke up in excitement, I turned around and found an awfully pale man walk in, his hair was equally white and messy, the only contrast against that white, white skin was his bright blue eyes.

He had a massive grin on his face as he said hello to everyone, I paused when I got to his clothes, he was wearing the exact same clothes as the stranger in the woods, even those ridiculous slippers, his eyes found mine and I turned around back to the bar keeping my eyes on the Tequila, I carried on sipping on my cider as the inhabitants fell back into their chatter,

"Hey Sans, you look good Human but you still have an ugly mug,"

I heard a plop next to me and glanced next to me, Sans was sitting right next to me and he was watching me with that grin,

"Can I help you?"

"I don't recognize you and I know every BODY that's here,"

I grinned at the bad pun and took a sip of my cider,

"I don't come here often, kinda HUMEREUS aint it,"

Sans laughed,

"You've got a knack for bad puns too?"

"Must know,"

"Hey Grillby I'll have the usual,"

Grillby reached under the bar and slid Sans a Tomato Sauce bottle, he popped it open and chugged it down,

"I'm y/n,"

Sans put the bottle down and shook my hand,

"Sans,"

I smiled,

"I know,"

Sans grin got wider. We fell into talking pretty quickly, just talking and joking around about the Underground, I quickly forgot about the problem with Undyne and instead was really enjoying Sans company. He was a real witty guy, his puns while horrible made me crack up with laughter. He was strange for a Monster; I knew he was a Monster because his eyes glowed unnaturally sometimes and instead of blushing pink or red he'd go blue and it was confusing me slightly because in front of me sat a man who looked Human plus he had an unhealthy obsession with Tomato Sauce. I had gone through 3 ciders, 1 glass of water and Sans and I shared a plate of skinny fries, drenched in tomato sauce but I didn't complain, Grillby's customers came and went but I didn't pay that much attention and neither did Sans by the looks of it, he took another sip of his tomato sauce before looking at me with that big grin that I've actually started to grow fond of,
