"Hey hun." Shawn answers her FaceTime call, wondering why Kelsey had called back within an hour.
"I can hear There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back outside my window, your fans are crazy." She laughs, walking to the balcony that opened up to the street.
"Oh my god."
"Jess!" Kelsey called as she struggled to open the door to step outside.
"What's the problem?" Shawn asked.
"The door won't open damnit." She mumbles in frustration, "Oh! It's locked. Got it."
The boy on the other side of the line snorts, amused by everything Kelsey does.
"Say hi, Shawn." She turns so he can see the group of teenage girls across the street, playing his music on a loud speaker.
Cheering when they see Kelsey appear, they turn the music up louder.
"You guys are playing Shawn?" She calls out, grinning, "Babe, I think they figured out I'm a fangirl."
"Tell them I love them!" He insists, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Shawn loves you guys, I have to get ready now but you're amazing and I love you!" She pretends to blow a kiss, and one of the girls jokingly catches it, Kelsey appreciating that someone has her sense of humor.
"That was cute." The brunette claims, falling onto her bed lazily. "Okay, I really do have to get ready."
"No offense but I think you could just stay on the phone and pay attention to me." Shawn's voice mocking what Kelsey has told him multiple times.
Mirroring his tone, "No offense but I don't like you."
