She parked her car and walked into the mall before she could talk herself out of this. This needed to happen, she was tired of running. So she took a deep breath as the automated doors made their way for her.
She saw him but this time she took some time to examine him. His toned body could be seen underneath his uniform and his arms were quite a sight. She remembered how he used to gym whenever he was frustrated. As she was examining his dark hair he looked up and they made eye contact. She wasn't the one to break it. He seemed to speak to someone for permission to leave before he walked right to her.
Deep breaths she thought to herself. Well there's no turning back now. She noticed how his eyes scanned her, as to reassure himself that she was real.
"Hey.. it's been awhile" he awkwardly said while scratching the back of his neck
"I know." She replied
"I didn't think I was ever going to see you again, listen I-"
"Don't. I don't want to hear an excuse or something you need me to hear. I am not the little broken porcelain doll you think I am, now if you'd excuse me I'd like to carry on with the next of my life."
And with that she left
