As the smile fell from your face I fell with it,
Our faces blue,

The boys delicate voice rained down on the room as I clung my body to my blanket.

The words that he sings rings inside my head and I can't help thinking what would it be like to love someone, and for someone to love me back. Just as much.

Yeah the truth is that I'm sorry,
Though I told you not to worry,

For someone to worry about me and care when I cry,and cuddle with me when I feel blue.

I'm just some dumb kid,
Trying to kid myself that I got my shit together,

For someone to ask about my day and they listen,

So go get running, won't you hurry,
Why'll its light out while its early,

For someone who truley loves me for me,

Before I start to miss any part of this and I'd change my mind whereever,

Even though I'm not perfect,

I say I want to settle down, build your hopes up like a tower,

Even though I'm not flawless,

I'm just a lost boy,
Not ready to be found,

Even though I'm not beautiful,

I don't care much for locks on the window,
To keep me at bay,

Even though I cut,

Ill leave you one last kiss on your pillow,
Before I fly away,

Even though my Mom hates me.

Yeah when you a found beginning,
That this wasn't ever ending,

And my dad comes home late.

Shouldn't stay to long,
Cause were both to young to give into forever,

Even though my little brother wakes up screaming and yelling,

I say I want to settle down,
Build your hopes up like a tower,

And my older brother has to wake up to make sure were not dead.

Im giving you the run around I'm just a lost boy,
Not ready to be found,

And me.

So what are you waiting for,
Cause someone could love you more,
I'm just a lost, lost boy,

Waking up.

So what are you waiting for,
Cause someone could love more,

My chest clinching.

I'm just a lost boy,

Tears raining from my eyes.

Lost boy,

I'm never enough.

I say I want to settle down,
Build your hopes up like a tower.

Nothings ever enough.

I'm just a lost boy.
