Fire Poetic

I drink fire, the fiery inebriation of Joy

Internalising its Elysian contents

Directing towards all I employ

How great, yet greater still is Thy name, o Freedom

Wherefore Thine Author changed Thy name

Inalterable of ungovernable fame

No one shall know, yet I know

And I, poet, give Thee wing

As I thus, freely and joyously sing
