Oft times I look out and see the sky
Clouds, how deep, dark, dense upon high
Brilliantly levin leaves its depths well nigh
Forks, leaps, roars, spry, lights then dies
Downpour descends, a thousand drops in unison
Reticently, no Jovian flashes nor roars
Just muted, meekly it sighs
The light breaks through
The day starts anew
The sovereign orb arises in cloudless majesty
Parting the darkness from the light
Thus days are become aright
Gone is the veil of the night
