April 2006It took more than a month for my dad to reply to my email and all I get was "Good." and more questions about salary and other rules. I got pissed so I decided not to reply.
I mean, what's the point? I work, I get paid, I help with our expenses. Isn't that how it works?
Anyway, I have been working for the company for 2 weeks already and I'm enjoying it! It may not be what I studied for 4 years but I guess learning does not stop after you graduate. And work doesn't feel like work when you're working with your friends!
And another reason to be happy for today is because I got my first pay check! First thing I did was to buy my favorite authentic Chinese siopao then I gave a certain amount to my mom. Of course, I bought our dinner as well. Grabbed the opportunity to take a rest from household chores if I can.
They say money can't buy happiness but it can buy me things that makes me happy. So I think that's the same. Plus, I like seeing the people I love smile.
Anyway, let us soar higher than the clouds. Like paper planes as wind pushes them higher.
xoxo,
