Imagine you and your family had to move because your father got a job in a different state, and you had to tell the news to your boyfriend River. You had waited a day before you left to tell him. When you finally told him, he got moody and politely asked you to leave his house, you complied and left. The day you were going to leave, you saw River through the mirror and yelled telling your father to stop the car. You quickly got out and ran to him.
"I'm going to miss you," he sad. You put your hand on his cheek and said, "I'm going to miss you too." As you said that, he looked at you with tears in his eyes. You leaned in and gave him a hug. "I love you," you whispered in his ear as his tears hit your shoulder. "I love you too," his voice cracking as he cried harder. Your father honked the car horn, and you slowly pulled away from the hug. "I'll see you later," you said as a tear slipped down your cheek. He nodded and let out a sob. You jogged back to the car and gave a final wave before you left.
"𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵," he whispers as he watches you leave.
