Imagine you and your boyfriend Matt moved in together after 4 years of dating. One day, you and him got into an argument. It was because you thought he was cheating on you. He wasn't. The argument ended with you leaving and swearing that you would never come back. As you walked away from the house, you couldn't help but to think of what awful things you said.
"I can't believe you would cheat on me! I thought you weren't a sleazy douchebag, but I guess I was wrong!"
That's what you screamed at him before leaving. You sighed and got out your phone to see if you could stay at your friends house.
She, thankfully, said yes and you walked a short distance to her house. As soon as she asked you what was wrong, you burst into tears. You told her about the fight and how you, wrongfully, accused him of cheating.
"It's okay," she whispered to you. "You can stay as long as you need."
You then asked her if she would go to your house and pick some clothes for you to wear. She said she would and went.
As she was gone all you could think about is how you must of hurt him.
