Hunter wasn't at school for a week and a half after the incident at my house and honestly, I couldn't be anymore thankful. I couldn't keep up with his hot and cold attitude, one minute he was a decent person and the next he was this horrible human being. I'd finally given into Beau and Axel's pleading and sat with them this week. They were great to hang out with, they respected my wishes for not sitting in the middle of the cafeteria to be the centre of attention and instead sat in the library with me. I had even agreed to go to Beau's house that afternoon for another practice and of course Axel had begged to be able to come along too.

But all good things must come to an end and that was when I walked into English and nearly dropped everything at the sight of Hunter sitting behind his desk, his feet propped up like he owned the place. I kept my eyes down and hugged my books to my body even tighter as I made my way to my seat. The whole class I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my head and I gripped my pen tighter in annoyance as the hour ticked by. Thankfully he didn't say a word or even touch me during class and I was thankful when I exited the school and found Beau and Axel waiting for me in the carpark. I grinned and gave them a little wave as I approached them but it instantly dropped when I saw the person standing behind them, leaning on a familiar car.

"Is it ok if Hunter tags along too? He said he'd give us a lift." Smiled Beau.

I gave him a fake smile and nodded slowly and made my way to the backseat.

"Not so fast princess, you ride shot gun with me." Grinned Hunter as he unlocked his car.

I swallowed nervously and made my way around to the passenger seat. As I shut the door a flash back to the night Hunter drove me home came to mind and I shyly looked up at him to find him staring back at me. I cleared my throat awkwardly and looked out my window the whole drive, listening to the boys argue of what they thought about the new girl that had just started today.

"Personally, I'd fuck her brains out." Smirked Hunter.

I chocked on my own spit at his crude words and tried to hide my coughing fit I was having due to surprise.

"You alright Aub?" Laughed Axel while patting my shoulder comfortingly.

"Aub?" Beau and Hunter questioned at the same time.

"Aubrey is too long, so I'm calling her Aub." Shrugged Axel.

"I don't like it." Grumbled Hunter.

"Alright then smart ass you pick a better nickname!" Pouted Axel while folding his arms across his chest.

"I don't see what's wrong with her name as it is but if you insist what about Bri?" Hunter mumbled while pulling up to a red light.

"Hmmm I like it." Beau grinned while sticking his head in the gap between Hunter and I.

Hunter gave his head a playful shove back from between our seats and took off when the light turned green.

"Isn't that a cheese?" Grumbled Axel from the back seat.

I let out a small giggle and turned my head slightly to nod at him.

"So, what's wrong with that. Lots of people like Bri, I love Bri!" Hunter argued back.

We all turned to give him wide eyed looks and his face turned slightly red.

"Not you I meant the cheese." He grumbled as we pulled into the long driveway of what I assume to be Beau's massive house.

"Suuuuuuure." Drawled Axel while giving Hunter a cheeky grin.

With a huff Hunter got out of the car, slamming his door behind him as he did so.

"I wonder what's up his butt." Muttered Beau.

"Probably Bri since he looooooooves it so much." Teased Axel as we all got out of the car.

"Cut it out now bro or you'll be up his ass in a minute kissing it when he threatens to bash your face in." Taunted Beau to a now pale and serious Beau.

"He wouldn't."

"Oh, I think we all know he would." Grinned Beau as he began to unlock the front door.

My eyes widened as I walked inside the expensive looking house. I looked up, taking in the glistening chandelier in the process and high ceilings.

"Cool huh? His parents are doctors." Grinned Axel while grabbing my hand and leading me through the large house.

We came to a stop in what seemed to be a gaming room, Hunter was sprawled across a couch with a controller in his hand. Axel joined him on the couch as Beau popped his head around the corner.

"Nah uh missy you're coming with me, we have practice to do."

I groaned as he grabbed my hand and pulled me from the room to another large room with only a lounge, armchairs and a coffee table in it. Beau began to move the coffee table to the far side of the room, leaving a large space in the centre of the room to dance.

"We can have more room this way." Beau explained while moving the armchairs slightly.

Pulling out his phone from his pocket he set it on the table as the music began to play. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes as we began to move through the routine. I tried to not focus on how close certain parts of us got during the dance and fought back the blush on my cheeks. Panting slightly, we nodded at each other and went from the top, we continued this routine another four times until a slow clap snapped us out of our zone. I jumped away from Beau, untangling my leg from around his hip for our final pose.

"Well that sure as hell was a surprise. Who knew you could move like that." Axel grinned cheekily.

"H-how long have you been watching." I mumbled while looking down at my stock covered feet.

"Long enough." Axel laughed before getting off the couch and twirling me around with his hand.

I gulped nervously, feeling Hunter's eyes burning into the side of my face as I avoided eye contact. His gaze was so intense I could feel my cheeks getting hot from embarrassment.

"It's late, do you guys wanna grab a pizza or something?" Beau asked while putting all the furniture back to how it was.

"Hell yes! Get in my belly pizza!" exclaimed Axel while already beginning to pull me to the front door.

I let out a small laugh as he led me back to the front door where I put my shoes back on and walked to Hunter's car again.

I tensed as I felt a presence behind me, their warm chest radiating heat onto my back. Their lips slightly brushed my ear, causing goosebumps to rise on my arms and a shiver to run down my spine.

"Nice moves." Hunter whispered in my ear before unlocking the car and making his way to the driver's side.

Taking a deep breath to compose myself I gotinto the passenger side, smiling as Beau and Axel argued about what type ofpizza was the best.
