Requested by: Shadow_Ice_King Origin: So in England there was once an event known as the War of the Roses where two families tried to take over the throne of England. One of these families was the house of Lancaster that had a red rose (like Ruby's emblem) as their crest. The war was fought by a group of knights (like Jaune). So that's where this ship name comes from. Opinion: I really like this ship. I shipped Ruby and Jaune together in volume 1 (until I saw Pyrrha obviously) and I like how Ruby made Jaune feel more confident in himself as a leader. But what really made me ship this was the moment they had together in volume 4 where Ruby was feeling upset because she felt she had dragged Jaune, Nora, and Ren with her on her mission to Mistral. Jaune however told her that she had not dragged them along, she had given them the courage to follow her. Yeah this ship is adorable and it's my second choice for Jaune and my fourth choice for Ruby.
