I heard a knock on the door. "James, can I come in?", Aleks said.
Chapter 5- Confrontation
Aleks's POV
My heart was racing and I could feel my palms sweating up.
"Palms sweaty, mom's spaghetti!", Sly was singing. I groaned,"Dude, now is not the time.". We walked in unison towards James's office door. Dan had said to leave him alone for a while, but of course, Sly and I didn't listen to him. Seamus complained about having to get up and walk 3 feet to James's office, so we just left him sitting in the maroon lounge chair. I walked up to James's door and said," Eddie, if you talk to James first, I will love you forever.". "Haha no.", He replied, "You made him angry, so you talk to him first. It's your problem, I'm just helping you as a friend.". "Fine.", I said. I took a deep breath and knocked rapidly on the hard wood door.
"James, can I talk to you?", I asked.
He muffled a reply and then spoke clearly,"I don't want to talk to anyone right now." But, James still touched the door, and it swung open slowly. I walked in the room with Eddie close behind, and saw James immediately. Shock flashed through me. Tears were flowing down his face.
