After a month:

"You're late Mark. You were suppose to be here an hour ago. Ano na? How was it?"

"I know! *catches breath* I know pare, pero bago mo 'ko sermunan...I have good news! And I'm sure you're gonna like it."

"Pray that I do..."

"Well, as it turns out, in dire need pala talaga yung owner ng financial assistance. His company is shrinking, as in almost near bancruptcy na! And what a big coincidence because he did, in fact, sent us a business proposal, a few weeks back."

"Have you analyzed it? Was it pliable?"

"Yes and yes, he respectfully agreed to all our terms, he had no qualms whatsoever with the total renovation at complete upgrade, all he asks in return is permanent work security for himself and his loyal employees."

"Good, in that case, go ahead and start the process and make sure to get it done - asap."

"Already on it."

Another two months:

"Okay, report..."

"Hindi ka naman masyadong excited? Nauna ka pa sa 'kin ah, paupuin mo naman muna ako."

"Sorry pare, uhm, have a seat..."

"Thank you and by the way, you owe me a round of beer."

[Presents a file case full of documents]

"Everything's in order?"

"Yup, all that it needs is your signature. Transition is ongoing as we speak and the official turnover is scheduled on monday."

"Thank you Mark, round off the boys later, we'll go out, my treat."

"To celebrate your company's latest acquisition?"
