Asami POV
We arrived, that was the scariest thing I have ever done, avatar dumped her hat leaving her brown hair hanging down to neck length
"Here we are beautiful" she says setting me down, I liked her new outfit
"What am I looking for"
"See that arena that's were mako's team will be playing" she says pointing at it
"Ok" I'm a little shocked by the size of the crowds, I wonder how many people know about this
"It's beginning" she whispers and the referee blows his whistle
"Hello ladies and gentle men, benders and non benders, today we are for an amazing match, we welcome the first team: THE FIREFERRETS, please welcome the team captain Mako, he is the best of the best of firebenders" as soon as he mentioned my boyfriend I zoned out how dare he do something like this, and certainly not tell me, I'm going to give him a piece of my mind
"Um avatar, can you please take me home I don't want to watch anymore" I say looking at her
"Yeah sure, your probably tired" she says picking me up and I melt into her arms
When we get home, I went and got ready for bed, but Avatar hasn't left yet
"Um do you want something" I ask her
"Well it's more are you ok, something like that is tough, I know what it's like to have that kinda pain, I have never really recovered from it, and i don't want you to go through the same thing, so please just rip of the bandage as soon as you can, don't let this eat you up inside" she says to me, she was right I had to talk to Mako
"Thank you, I have a feeling we are going to get along" I say opening a window
"Yeah" she says leaving
After that I went to bed, but I couldn't sleep so I decided to text her
Hey um I know it's late but I can't sleep
Hey Sami,you have to stop thinking about this ok
Yeah, why are you doing this
"Well I owe you a favour"
"What have I done for you"
"You will figure it out, now get some sleep"
I put my phone on the charge and I finally get some sleep
Le magic Time skip
I went to school and I walk up to mako locker and slam it
"Hey babe, what's up" he says, how dare he be so casual, I grab his scarf and pull him out of the school
"Woah Asami, what's going on"
"How dare you" I say with tears forming in my eyes
"I don't know what your taking about"
"You know, you have been lying to me, going of playing illegal bro-bending matches for Money and help you and bolin and you lie and go do that, so how dare you" I say with tears blurring my vision
"Look I'm sorry, I didn't want to tell you please forgive me" he begs
"No were over mako, I'm breaking up with you" I say leaving and wiping the tears away and walking back into class I sat down and I saw mako walk in and he sat down in another chair far away from me and to be honest I'm glad, class start and after about five minutes korra runs in, her hoodie up and her backpack hanging low
"Class this is korra, she is new here, so please be nice, Asami is it ok if she sits beside you" the teacher asks, I nodded and korra came and sat beside me, I noticed her left hand was bandaged up
"Hey" I tell her
"Um hi..thank you for letting me sit beside you" she mumbles pulling her sleeve over her injured hand
"No problem, wanna hang out after class" I ask her
"Yeah that would be cool" she says smiling at me
Le magic Time skip (after the school day ends)
"Hey you want to come over to my place" I offer the hooded girl
"Yeah I just need to go to the bathroom one sec" she says excusing herself
Korra POV
I went to the bathroom, as I arrived i looked at myself in the mirror,a pain shot up from my abdomen, the wound from yesterday wasn't completely healed, suddenly Kuvira and her gang walk in
"Looks like you don't have Asami to protect you now" kuvira spits at me
"Please I have some where to be please I don't want any trouble" I say trying to make to the door
"No, come here you depressed freak" she says grabbing my shoulder causing pain to go down to my injured hand
"Please I really need to go" I beg kuvira is much bigger than me, I may be strong enough to take her but not injured
"Your going get what you should have gotten yesterday" she says pushing me to the ground
I try to get up but then one kicks me in the stomach, opening my wound, all I can do is groan in pain, All I want to do is punch her but two wrongs don't make a right, they keep kicking me in the stomach and then one kicks me in the jaw hitting my bruise and I yell out in pain
"Keep calling no one cares about you, you're a loser and Asami doesn't like you she has just taken pity on you" kuvira yells at me, the words stung like acid
After a couple of minutes later they finally finished kicking me and they left, leaving me on the floor,Asami does like me, doesn't she, she wouldn't invite me if she didn't like me, I got up and pulled my hood up and pick up my glasses, I went to the mirror and lifted my hoodie up finding my blood stained t-shirt, I lifted my t-shirt up and turn the tap on and dabbed my wound with some water, I cover up my bruise with a bid of makeup I had in my bag, and I pulled my sleeves over my hands and I walk out
I see Asami but I keep walking, there is no way she will love me, let alone like me, kuvira was right I'm a freak.
Suddenly a hand grabs my shoulder causing pain down my arm and then I flinch
Asami pov
I was waiting for a good while until I saw Korra leave, she looked at me but she kept walking, so I catch up and grab her shoulder and she flinches
"Hey are you ready to go" I ask her
"No I can't go" she says, her attitude has changed what happened in that bathroom, I'm finding out what happened, I took her normal hand that wasn't bandaged up and took her to my car
"What happened in the bathroom, before you went there you were happy to go and now no, what happened" I ask her
"Nothing" she mumbles, I pull of her hood and her hair was tied up in a ponytail, I could see that she put some makeup on her jaw line
"Do you mind" I say wiping away the makeup but she pulls away putting her hood back on
"Korra please we clearly both have had a bad day, but someone once told me to stop thinking about what bad, please we are friends now so tell me what happened" I say pulling her closer to me
"I'm fine ok" she says but before she could pull away I wiped the makeup away and pull her hood down only to find a bruise going down her jaw line
"How did that happen to you" I ask her
"I need your help please, I'm losing blood I need medical attention" she begs before passing out in my arms
Hey guys have you figured it out yet, you probably have, you probably think how has Asami not figured it out yet, she doesn't really know korra so yeah
