"Michael?"

"Look, baby it's alright. Jordan went out to check on things. Don't worry, we'll take care of things."

"I'm causing you a lot of problems, I'm sorry." Joanna says trying not to cry again.

"Jordan went to take care of that asshole that hurt you."

"You didn't need to do that." Joanna says she snuggles into the blanket and the warm body next to her.

"Yes, I do. You are under my direct protection. Even if you weren't what he did to an innocent couldn't be left untended to. But you are under my direct protection. Did he know that your ex was me?"

"I told him, but he didn't believe me." She isn't warming up very much but it was enough for her to start shivering.

"Yeah, it wasn't wide spread that I took a girlfriend was it? I'm sorry, that was my fault." Just then Jordan comes back wet and carrying several bags holding blankets.

He takes out blankets and wraps then around them both. Michael looks at him, "I left him for the police to find him. Just another dead homeless body."

"The phone is tracking at a set location. Either it's in the taxi and the taxi is stopped or the douche took it inside." Jordan says giving an update.

"Call for my car to come around front, make sure the heaters are on high."

Jordan takes Joanna from Michael so that Michael can get redressed. As soon as Michael is dressed Jordan hands Joanna back to Michael.

"Did you tell that bitch out there to go on home?" Michael says as he dresses.

"Yeah, and boy wasn't she pissed. She had threatened the coat check girl to the point the girl almost didn't go tell you when I told her to tell you Joanna was here." Jordan says lightly.

"She did what?" Michael growls out angrily. "I'll deal with her later," His eyes are hard and cold.

Jordan looks at Joanna sadly, "I'm sorry that she's hurt, but I'm glad that she will be coming back home where she belongs.

"I'm surprised that you didn't kill Blake." Jordan says not wanting to wake the sleeping girl.

"It's best if I don't do anything. He was just following orders. If I say anything then Joanna will just disappear and not have any protection at all. I know Joanna well enough to know that much. I'm just glad that she was willing to keep Blake, there is no way she'd ever take anyone else."

Michael holds Joanna close to him, "After she's all better, it's likely she'll leave again. I doubt that I'll be able to do anything to keep her at the house. I want her to stay, but I don't know what to do to keep her."

Jordan looks at him with his jaw hanging open. He closes it with a snap when he realizes it. "You're going to let her go?"

"I'm not going to force her to stay with me. I love her too much for that." Michael says cradling Joanna close to him.

Jordan's phone rings and he answers it, he closes the phone after talking to whoever called him. "The car's out front," Jordan says hanging up the phone. "It's pouring out there."

"We'll be fine, just open the doors for me."

"Right." Jordan says going before them opening the office door and then running ahead to open the club and car doors.

"I'll see you back at the estate. Call the doctor and have him ready, give him a run down of her injuries. I don't like how deep that neck cut is. Tell him about her hypothermia as well."
