Tom knocked on the door to Elle's house. He knew that Naomi had already tried talking to her and he figured it was time he did too. When she opened, Tom could tell she was crying. "Can I come in?" She nodded and let him in. The two were standing in the kitchen when started to speak.
"Elle, I'm sorry that-" "Tom-" "No please let me finish. I was stupid but I was scared and I didn't-" "Tom stop-" "No let me talk-" "I'm not pregnant."
That got Tom to shut up. "Not anymore?" Tom asked. "Not ever. I lied." "W-why would you lie about something like that." "Because of Naomi! I see the way you look at her and the way she looks at you. You like her and she likes you. I'm not stupid. I didn't want you to leave me."
"Oh my god! I can't believe you!" "Tom please I-" "No I don't want to hear it. We're done."
