"Don't you ever get tired of this?"

"No! Why would I be? You are the light of the darkness, the love of my life, my reason to live! Don't say silly things Sakura~" The raven-haired teen winked his eyes at the pretty pinkette he was talking to at the moment. The pinkette showed no sign of interest towards the things he was talking about.

She found it irritating. It was a complete waste of her time.

She rolled her green emerald orbs and continued to walk her way, trying to escape this irritating guy.

Sakura always found Sasuke a pain in the head. It was always like this. First thing in the morning, he would go around the corner of the streets and surprise her - declaring his love for her.

He was too dramatic.

"Hey Sakura! Don't leave me behind! Where are you going? Hey!!"

So irritating!

"It's none of your business! Shut up!"

With that, she ran her way passed the busy crowds, with a notepad in hand, trying her best to lose him. Glancing back where she came from - she saw no sign of him. She felt a pang of relief.

She decided to stop, panting heavily and hard. Sweating but.. She felt alive? Well, that's one thing she could thank him.

"What's wrong with you, Sakura?"

A voice she's so familiar with, broke the deafening silence.

"Hinata."

She wasn't relieved at all. She felt annoyance.

Hinata just stood there, arms crossed, looking down at her with pure amusement. Her midnight hair was tied up in a ponytail. She wore her usual dress but was overlapped by a white coat. Her ever flat tummy, (which she's overly proud of) was always there, showing too much skin and Sakura hated it.

She saw how pathetic she looked right now. Giving satisfaction to her rival.

Sakura took a deep breath and maintained her cool. She took her new handkerchief and began to wipe the sweat off her face. She tied her ever so long pink locks of hair to a messy ponytail. She looked beautiful nonetheless.

"Let me guess, running away from Flirtsuke?" Hinata teasingly giggled.

She's awfully happy, "Never change."

They began to walk, they work together at Konohagakure's new hospital. Sakura, being the best medical ninja - was acknowledge and was now the head of it. It made her glad. It made her think if her lost family was proud.

But of they were, she knew that her parents are proud of her. All she did; up until now was always dedicated to them. She taught of them as her inspiration in life, disregarding the fact that they are no longer with her. She has to walk the path alone.

She was used to it.

"Forehead! I'm talking to you!"

Great. She just smiled at Hinata, she was awfully kind to her right now, she needed to make this moment last.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm listening!"

Hinata just stared at her with pure disbelief. "You sure? So are you really fine with this?"

"Huh? - Ouch!" She received a quick smack on her forehead, "What was that for!?"

"See? You're such a liar! You told you were listening! Now, I have to repeat all of what I said about me and Menma!"
