 After we were all done with the personnel talk thingy, we galloped down the stairs. I was shocked to see my dad back from work. I kind of blocked the stairway so yeah my friends who ran down bumped on me and we fell. It looked like a human trio sandwich. Then my dad faced me and let out a little laugh. "What are you girls up to." my dad asked facing us the trio sandwich. Hi uncle." Chatcy blurted out. Katey smacked her head. I closed my face and felt a little embarrassed because a few of my dad's colleagues were there and how fun is it seeing three teens lying down on the ground. To make it worst there was this stupid ant in my tee. We wiggled and collapsed like a building. Then my dad invited me over to his side. It was nerve wracking seeing his BOSS !!! Did I just say my dad's boss.Oh frick when my dad's boss is here,my dad would want me to be professional. I mean well behaved and all the other shit. 

I waddled over to my dad's side. He introduced me to his colleagues.I quickly ran back to my mom. "Mom why is dad early home today and why are his colleagues here?" I asked doubtfully. My mom was pretty busy I guess, because she was not focusing on me at all. The only thing that she cared was hundred percent chopping the onion. My friends got up to their foot. They scurried to the kitchen. Katey let out a long sigh. "Girls, how was your project?" my mom broke the silence. "We finished it Mrs. Swiston." Chatcy answered. "Okay then join us for dinner." my mom said. "Oh sure Mrs. Swiston. It would be more polite if we let our wonderful guests to dine first." Katey said. I looked at my mom in disbelief because she could sense my friends' appearance but not her own daughter. "By the way do you girls know where is Nikki?" my mom asked. My mouth dangled open. "But Mrs. Swiston she's right here." Katey said. "Oh really! Sorry dear I didn't notice you." my mom said apologetically. I shot her the you forgot about me look. Katey and Chatcy giggled. (ringtone). "Hello mom, yes I'm fine. Yes I have completed the project. I will be back tomorrow." Chatcy spoke on the phone. Katey faced me with a raised eyebrow. 

Then my dad called over for my mom."Honey is dinner ready. Our guests are waiting." I answered on behalf of my mom," Yes dad almost. Just wait for 5 minutes." "Done!" my dad replied. As Chatcy hung up on the phone, she threw her phone away and helped my mom serve the food. I and Katey were pretty impressed because at school she expects us to throw her rubbish and all. 

Then as proper women we let the oldies to munch in actually, frankly speaking, I was drooling looking at them luxuriate the food. I could also hear Chatcy's  tummy rumbling. Katey was pretty much fine about waiting but for me and Chat we will create chaos when we're told to wait. Usually at school I just feel like cutting the line when we'll have to queue to get our food. Not only that, some dumbo just goes on cutting the line where the line grows longer and we get our food late. As we eat late, we get detention for going late to class. I just can't take it. 

"Oh finally their done !" Chatcy groaned. She was very hungry that she pushed Katey away and invaded the seat. I and Katey sighed. Chatcy was the first to taste my mom's food. For your info, my mom is a good cook.Suddenly Katey's phone rang. "Oh hello!" Katey greeted someone on the phone.  By the look on her face, I could see that it was her boyfriend,Charlie. She quickly ran outside. I invited myself and helped myself with the food because my mom was feeding Brianna. Really, I mean it is really not fair because when I ask her to feed me, she backs off and says,"You are not a small girl anymore." (Does this happen to you too, let me know down in the comments.) Then Katey came back in with a broad smile and I could clearly see her blushing over something. "Yo what up? Why you blushing ?" I asked sensing something funny. "No - no nothing." Katey stammered. She looked down to the floor. I knew something fluffy happened on the phone. "Hey come on tell us. I can sense something weird goin on." Chatcy said half way munching through a piece of chicken. "Okay but don't tell anyone about this." she assured. "Yes boss !" we counted. "It was actually Charlie on the phone." Katey said leaving it halfway. "Oh come on ! We know that !" Chatcy groaned. "Okay,okay patience please. He called me out for a date." Katey said sheepishly. Girl, that was some romance. She was blushing. "But ........." Katey's voice trailed away. "But......." we followed. "But I said I can't" she said. Coincidentally, Chatcy dropped down her chicken piece and Mr. ketchup made his way up to my collar. "What the heck man! Are you crazy, this is a golden opportunity. In this way you can grow your love." Chatcy said grabbing another drumstick. Katey stood silent. She looked at me with a worried look. To get her out of it, I invited her for dinner.
