"I have night conversations with the moon, he tells me about the sun and I tell him about you."
-- S.L. GrayEver since I was a child I was always enthralled by the beauty that the silver moon holds. When I take night walks I always look above and stare in awe. There is this mysterious pull that draws me to the night sky and every time that I saw the moon I always feel at home, like it is calling for me.
The Moon Child will be my very first book about poetry. This book will be the reflection for my admiration to my mother, the moon and how she comforted me in many painful memories. This will also contain the rantings of my mind.
I believe that as a person, there is this one special place for our soul to call home. For me, that is the moon. It gives this mysterious feeling of contentment and tranquility. It makes me feel at peace.
Some of you might notice some poems were inspired by other great, famous poems.
I hope everyone of you will enjoy Moon Child as much as I enjoyed putting it together.
