Gilbert: Yes! I'm reciting a poem dedicated to Anne 😉

Anne: I bet it was all a plan to get Ruby to like him!
Anne: HOW COULD GILBERT DO THIS TO JERRY?! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN HIS FACE WHEN THE LIGHT FELL ON RUBY WHILE BLYTHE WAS RECITING!
Anne: And there I was thinking he was talking about me for a few seconds! I felt like he was looking at ME when he recited "There is another, not a sister"
Anne: But he was probably just looking at Ruby who was next to me!
Diana: Woah! Slow down Anne!
Anne: I can't slow down! I'm so angry! And so embarrassed!! I started SCREAMING at him in front of EVERYONE. AND GILBERT LIKES RUBY!
Diana: Please slow down, Anne! Just listen (or in this case read).

Diana: There's something fishy about it all, because I know Gilbert loves you. I HELPED him plan the recital.
Anne: Di, he tricked us all. It was all just some sick joke!
