My name is Tyler Haddock. I'm not actually a Haddock, but the Chief adopted me as his own son. I'm 10 years old. You could say I'm a hiccup, but my name isn't. Sorry Hiccup. You could say I'm different. Like seriously. A couple years ago, I let the dragons out of the cages in the Arena and watched them for hours, till I got caught. But I made a discovery, I keep it to myself, though. I realized that Hiccup's mom was right about dragons. But something is making them do this, like some higher power or something. I realized then that, the Higher power is their queen, and they're the workers. But back to now. Last night, I think someone hit a Night Fury, don't ask me how I know. Its just a guess. The roar was way different from other dragons. So in a couple hours, I'm going to check around Raven Point. Just a hunch.

I brought a barrel of fish, and some rope. I grabbed a few straight sticks along the way too. In case a wing is broken. I don't find anything for hours, till I find a cove with a sleek, black dragon in it. Yes! I found it! Making my way into the cove, I keep my eyes on the Night Fury. As I get closer, it wakes up, she..... I think....... Looks at me, like she is trying to read me. And yep, her wing is broken. I lay down the barrel. "Hey there, I'm not going to hurt you. I want to help" I say trying to ease any doubt or worry. She gets up slowly, eyes me, then the barrel. I kick it open. Her eyes light up as she digs her head onto the fish, before suddenly pulling out and hissing. I look at what she is hissing at, and see an eel. Eeww. I pick it up and throw it away, before looking for more and finding none. "I hate eels as well" I say. While she eats the fish, I fix her wing and use the ropes and sticks to hold it in place. Noticing what I did, she looks at me, questioningly. "Your wing will heal, but you can't fly for a while." I tell her and smile. She 'smiles' back. As if saying: 'thanks'. The sun starts setting and I have to leave. "See you tomorrow." I say to her. She hums in response.

I come back everyday for the next four days. On the fifth, I bring fish, like usual and check her wing. Wow, its fully healed. I gently take of the sticks and ropes. "Your wing is fully healed. You can leave now, if you want." I say, hope and sorrow in my voice. "Just remember me when you leave, because I will never forget you." I say, tearing up. She 'hugs' me and purrs. I wonder what she is saying. I hug her back and when we pull away, I notice the sun set. "Well, Goodbye" I say, turning around and slowly walking off. She growls a little. I turn around and my eyes lock with hers. She suddenly lunges forward, and bites me. "Why did you do that?" I ask, slightly scared. I then notice, my skin turning black and hardening. Scales? Intense pain shoots through me as my bones realign, and body changes shape. I wake up maybe an hour later, and it's dark. Huh, must've fallen asleep. I walk over to the water and suddenly remember the scales and the pain. I'm a Night fury?!? She made me a Night Fury! Im shocked, slightly annoyed but also, kinda happy. She walks over to me. "Are you feeling okay? What do you remember?" She asks. Well at least I can understand dragons now. But what about Hiccup. And dad? Oh No. Dads gonna kill me if he finds me! "Why did you do this. And I remember everything!" I yell, obviously scared. "Calm down. You will be fine. But that's amazing, your ability to speak Norse, even now." She says trying to soothe me. "We need to leave! Now!"
