"Y/n, you're so slow!" Y/n heard the small voice of her friend, Morty.
She quickly got up from the sand box and walked over to the kid and sat infront of him.

The two just recently met at the park, and Morty would not stop following Y/n around the park, she found the boy weird and wouldn't go near him, but her mother scolded her for being mean.

"Oh, wait! Yesterday I made something, I think you'll love it!" Y/n small voice said, she took off her bookbag and placed it between her legs.
Morty smiled widely and scooted closer to the girl.

"You-you--got me, something?" Morty questioned. He was grateful that Y/n would do so seeing she was basically his only friend. Y/n nodded.

She dug in her bookbag for the surprise that kept Morty impatiently waiting.

She then smiled as she retreated her hand from the bag, and quickly shosed it to Morty.

Morty looked down, his eyes widen as he stared at the gift.

A black eyepatch. He looked up at Y/n and then at the gift. He took the eyepatch and flipped it over, a piece of tape was in the eyepatch.

'To: Morty
From: Y/n (hotglass)'

Morty looked at the scribbled written in red ink. He smiled once again and looked at Y/n. She saw him look at her and she smiled at him.

"Mama, helped me find the materials to make it, since you love pirate's, she helped me make you an eyepatch," Y/n said as she zipped her bookbag back up.

"I love it! Thank you!" Morty shouted and wrapped his arms around Y/n's neck and hugged her tightly.
Y/n let out a strained laugh, before hugging back.

Morty, or to be less, complicated, evil Morty, was seated by a couch, everyone was asleep, seeing they could spend another day and then head out in the morning.

Y/n had been up for about an hour or so and was lurking through her phone.

Morty head was on Y/n's ankle as he was fast asleep. His arms were wrapped around her leg as if it were a teddy bear of some sort.

Y/n's arms were still sore, but not as painful as they were earlier.

Y/n heard shuffling behind her. She blinked and looked over her shoulder.

She saw Morty's counterpart leaning on the couch as he was seated on the floor.

She saw he was still up.

Y/n sat up and grabbed her Morty's arm and flung them off of hers. Morty was a light sleep, but eh, he'll be alright.

Y/n freed her legs from Morty's grip and placed them on the floor.
She grabbed her throw over blanket and walked over to the counterpart.

She slowly tiptoed over S/n's form. She was bundled up with Summer as the two shared a blanket.

Once she walked over the two, Y/n sat down next to Morty.

"What are you do up?" Y/n said quietly.

"I could ask you the same," Morty blankly said as he fiddled with his eyepatch.

Y/n looked at him. She tossed the blanket him so she could share. After all--it was cold.

Y/n and Morty didn't exchange any words to each other. Y/n hugged her legs as she placed her cheek on her knees.

"It's like, 3 in the morning, you should sleep." Morty said.

"Yeah..."she mumbled, she grabbed a pillow from the couch her and Morty were leaning on and placed it behind her.
