Hi I'm Neveah,I'm 14 and I'm Cyrus's cousin. Me and Cyrus have always been close. Best friends really. But I moved to Denver. I missed Cyrus so much. But about a month ago after my dad walked out on us, my mom lost her job and she couldn't afford rent in our apartment. So now we are moving in with my aunt and Cyrus. I'm so excited but what sucked is I had to break up with my boyfriend Gabe Duncan *reference anyone* because he said he couldn't do long distance. It sucker but it was just an 8th grade boyfriend it's no biggie. It's not like I was gonna marry him.

After the 2 hour flight we finally landed and went to gate 46 *another refrence* where we are supposed to meet Cyrus and my aunt. Then I see Cyrus.
"CYRUS" I yell and run
"NEVEAH" he yells back and we wrap our arms around each other.
"I missed you so much" I say.
"I missed you too" he says and pulls back
"What does the "g" Stand for?" He asks pointing at my neaklace I got from gabe for our 6 month anniversary
"Oh that's the first letter of my ex boyfriends name" I say
"Oh okay, so after we get home do you wanna come to the diner with me and my friends" Cyrus asks
"Oh no I don't wanna be a bother Cyrus I'll just stay home and unpack" I say and grab my bag
"Nonsense you have and never will be a bother. We are going to the diner." He says.
"Alright fine you win" I say

Time skip to diner
"Hey guys this is my cousin Neveah, Nev that's Andi and Buffy." He introduces me
"Nice to meet you" I say
"You to" andi says
"Where's Jonah" Cyrus asks
"He will be here in a few minutes" Buffy says. I do idea to check my instagram while I'm waiting for food
"Hey guys who's that" I voice says and my head snaps up to see the hottest boy in the world.
"Oh Jonah that's Cyrus's cousin Neveah" Andi says and I glance back down
"Nev this is Jonah" Buffy says. But I don't respond I'm thinking about Gabe and everyone else back in Denver.
"Nev" Cyrus says and waves his hand in front of my face.
"Huh" I say snapping out of it
"You zoned out are you okay?"  Cyrus asks
"Yea I'm fine just... you know what it doesn't matter I'm just gonna go. You guys enjoy your time to hang out. I'm just intruding I'll just get some baby taters to go and walk home" I say and get up
"Nev you don't know how to get home" Cyrus says
"Cyrus I'll be fine don't worry just hang out with your freinds" I say
"Neveah just sit down" he says.
"But Cyyyrussssss" I groan Cyrus gets up and grabs my arm
"I'll be right back" he says and drags me outside.
"Nev what's wrong why dint you wanna stay?" Cyrus asks.
"I miss Denver Cyrus. I miss my friends and I miss Gabe and I miss my dad and I.. "I stop and just sob into his shirt. He wraps his arms around me.
"Nev it's okay.  Your okay" he sooths, Cyrus has always calmed me when I'm upset
"Cyrus I wanna go back to Denver" I sob
"I know you do" he says
"Can I please go back to the house" I say
"Sure I'll walk you" he says
"No no its fine I'll walk by myself" I say . Then the door opens and of all people Jonah walks out.
"Hey Cyrus I gotta-Neveah what's wrong" Jonah says and wraps his arms around me. No idea why but I instantly fell calm. I never felt like that in Gabes arms. At least no right away.
"I'm fine I just need to go home" I say
"Well my mom needs me home to babysit my sister and I have to walk that way so I can walk with you" he says
"Okay" i say and whip my eyes.
"I'll see you later Cyrus" both me and Jonah say at the same time
"Okay" he say and walks back into the diner
