"So what's your story" Jonah asks
"Me and Cyrus have been best friends since we were kids. It was a bonus that we were cousins. When I moved to Denver, me and Cyrus still video chatted every day. But about a month ago my dad walked out. Then my mom lost her job and she couldn't afford rent in our apartment. So we moved in with Cyrus and my aunt and now I'm here" I explain
" So how was life in Denver? " Jonah asks
"It was nice. I made like 3 friends one of them being Gabe " I say
" Who's Gabe " Jonah asks
" my ex boyfriend" I say
"Oh sad why did you break up " he asks
" He couldn't do long distance he said it never works out " I say
" Well if he broke up with you over a stupid reason like that he was not the one " Jonah says
" Thanks Jonah no one has ever told me that before " I say

"Sure" he says. We swap phones

"Music notes?" He says in a question type way.
" Yea I sing  but not  in front of crowds" I say
" Well its just us can I hear you sing?" He asks
" I guess but I'm not that good" I say
"  I'm Sure you'll do fine" he says
I take him to an alley so no one else hears me then turn on my favorite song then begin to sing.
