Chapter three

"Who do you think I should date? Who would be a good match in your opinion?", Ginny asked, supporting her question by a dramatic gesture. ME, DATE ME! "As far as I know, Seamus is vacant at the moment", Hermione replied coolly. "I don't think we would make a happy couple. We don't really have a common ground", Ginny interjected. "Oh, you would certainly compliment each other", Hermione answered sarcastically. "Hey, why are you so mean today? What's the matter?", Ginny asked worriedly. "At least she's thinking about MY state of mind for a change", Hermione thought feeling instantly guilty about it. You couldn't blame anyone for not crushing on you. "I didn't mean to, sorry. I'm just not feeling particularly good today", she thus said. "Hey, it's okay. Everyone has got a bad day every now and then. Do you want to talk about it? I'm always there for you, you know?", Ginny offered sympathetically. "THIS is why I love her!", Hermione thought but said: "Thank you Ginny, I really appreciate your offer but I think I need a bit of time for myself" and left the room.
