Lauren's POV:
I was walking with Shawn to my History class, as we were walking I saw Stacie walking towards us, I don't always talk to Stacie, last time I did, I asked her what homework we had for Spanish class, and that was 2 years ago
"Hey Shawn, hey Lauren" she said, and we replied to her with a simple "hey" in sync
"There's a party tonight at my place at 7, and you guys are invited, do you want to come?" she asked
"No I ca-" I started but was cut off by Shawn
"Yeah, we'll go" he said to Stacie as I looked at him with my 'What the hell' look
"Great! See you tonight" she said then left
"What the hell Shawn?" I asked
"What? You didn't want to come?" he asked
"I can't come to the party, I got work, remember?" I said making a 'duh' tone
"You can call your boss and tell her you can't come, it'll be okay" he replied
I then thought for a second, looks like he won, and besides, I've never been to a party before so why not?
"Alright, alright, you win" I said then he gave me a smile
"Come on, let's get to class" he said then we went to our class
*Skip school day*
We were finally done with school and walked to the parking lot, and started driving
Once we finally reached home, I called my boss to tell her I can't come because of a party, she's not that old, she's 27 and she's been working for a while, we're practically family
Shawn had to go home to get ready, and he decided to pick me up at 6:30
I started getting ready for the party, (outfit above) and wore some makeup; which consists of a dark maroon lipstick, mascara and eyeliner
I then got a text from Shawn
(S-Shawn L-Lauren)
S: Hey Lauren, i'm downstairs :)
L: Ok, thx again for driving me :)
S: No prob <3
What did he mean when he sent a heart? Maybe he's just showing affection for me thanking him, but then again, he did say he likes me, i'm so confused
I got my purse that has my phone and makeup that I used for the look, then left my house and entered the car and strapped myself in
"You look... amazing" said Shawn, I blushed but hid my face
"Thanks Shawn, you don't look bad yourself" I replied, who am I kidding, he looks so hot in his outfit
Shawn's POV:
"You look... amazing" I said to Lauren complimenting her, which is the truth, she looks phenomenal, but I didn't say that because I would feel embarrassed
"Thanks Shawn, you don't look bad yourself" she replied looking away, I think I made her blush, I smiled to myself feeling proud for a moment
"Hey, my mom wants to meet you for some reason, is that okay?" I asked, she just nodded
We then arrived home and I opened the door and started looking for my mom
"Hey Mom, hey Aaliyah" I said as I went to the kitchen and saw both of them
"Hey" he replied in sync
"This is Lauren by the way" I said as Lauren stepped in
"You must be the girl Shawn keeps talking about" Aaliyah
"I DON'T" I yelled which made her laugh, but to be honest, I do, I like her a lot to not mention her to my family, even though they make fun of me for mentioning her all the time, I don't care, I'm happy to have her in my life as a really close friend, although deep down, I'm wishing for a lot more
"It's okay Shawn" she whispered in my ear then went to my mom to hug her and also with Aaliyah
Lauren's POV:
"It's okay Shawn" I whispered in his ear then went to his mom to hug her and also with Aaliyah
I'm not gonna lie, but I always think about Shawn alone, and yes, I see Shawn as a great guy, I don't think of him as a bad boy, and the fact that Aaliyah made the comment where Shawn talks about me a lot makes me... happy, it really does, but the comment that Shawn said he doesn't talk about me at all makes me a bit hurt, I don't know the truth anymore about him but I guess I just have to wait and see what God holds for the both of us
Shawn's POV:
We stayed for about 5 minutes, then I went to my mom to kiss her cheek bye, she then whispered in my ear "Make her happy" I didn't understand at first, but then later I understood she wanted Lauren to be my girlfriend, I whispered back "I'm working on it" then left
Lauren's POV:
I kissed everyone bye then Shawn and I left to the car to go to the gathering together
Looks like we're going to be the life of the party...
A/N: The next part of this chapter is going to be uploaded in a few minutes, I just have to edit a few parts. I decided on making it into 2 parts because part 1 is 948 words (sorry for making it short) and the second part is 1643 words and I may even add more into it, I didn't want this chapter to be too long so I had to do 2 parts
