Recap: "Hey!" is what both Shawn and I heard, which made us both stop fighting, I was scared of the thought of it being a teacher or a coach, but it happened to be someone else
Josh's POV:
Both Shawn and I didn't know what to expect from this; we didn't know how much Lauren heard and if she knows the reason why we were fighting, but we were extremely scared of what's about to happen next for the both of us
Lauren's POV:
"Hey!" I yelled out, then started walking to them, they weren't that close, but not that far either, and yet I took my time to walk up to them, and once I did reach the destination I stopped to look at the both of them, they both looked in extreme pain
"Let's go to the nurse's office, I'll help you both out" I said, they had confused looks; they thought I didn't know why they were fighting, and I didn't even show affection to them. I didn't ask them anything about the fight and why were they fighting; I knew my answers anyway, but I will ask them to see more into this
As we were walking, they said no word to me or to each other, we finally reach the nurse's office, it was open and yet no one was in the office, it was kind of strange, maybe the nurse forgot to lock the door before she left or something, I thought, but my main concern is now Shawn and Josh
I took all the equipment I needed and started on Shawn, cause it looked more serious
"How do you know what to use for something specific?" asked Shawn while I was working on making him feel better
"I'm pretty clumsy, so I'd make sure I'm in good condition, but my Dad was a doctor so he knew what he would do" I replied, giving no emotion, I needed to know the truth about what Shawn did, and I was still angry at him, but deep down, I was smiling, not because of Shawn, but because of the memory of Dad helping me when I was clumsy enough to do something stupid
He just nodded, understanding what I said, he would flinch every once in a while, whenever I would put rubbing alcohol in his bloody cuts, I would just apologize and he would just nod in acceptance of my apology
I then was working on Josh's wounds and cuts
"You didn't ask why we were fighting, why aren't you?" he asked, Shawn nodded in agreement of Josh's question
"This is the first time I can see both of you agreeing on something together" I said then chuckled afterwards, they both chuckled too
"But I've heard you two's conversation so, really, I don't need to ask anything" I continued, both of them had shocked looks on their faces
"I do have one question for the both of you, if you don't mind me asking" I said
"Not at all" they both replied at the same time
"Josh, why do you like me so much?" I asked first
He then sighed, then opened his lips to start talking
"I don't like you" he said, I just nodded, understanding, to be honest, I knew he was going to say that, knowing that no guy saw me as my true self
As of Shawn, he did it for a week then broke me and cheated on me, so it didn't count
"I love you" he continued, I stopped what I was doing, looking deep into his eyes, all I can see in them is honesty and love, he really meant what he said
I then cleared my throat, not making awkward silence as I was going deep into his beautiful emerald eyes
"Okay then, why do you love me?" I asked
"Because you're amazing, because you mean the world to me, you're different from any other girl, and I always saw something unique and special about you for so long, and I was blessed to have you as a part of me, and I was so happy when you accepted going on a date with me" he replied
I then nodded, what he said was sweet and kind, I then thanked him, he accepted it with a nod
I then walked up to Shawn slowly and asked "Shawn, why do you like me?" I asked
"First of all, I love you, don't ever think differently" he started, I chuckled the way he responded
"Alright, then why do you say you love me?" I asked
"I love you because..." he started to speak
