"Now, were stoping in France to pick up Agent May" Coulson says .
"Agent May?" Me and my brother ask
"Have you ever heard of the Cavalry?" Fitz asks
My eyes widen "Who hasn't?!" I nearly yell "Me and my brother grew up with stories about the Cavalry "
Coulson and Ward glance at each other
"Well the 'Cavalry' is Agent May but dont let her hear you call her that" Ward says
"But we will be stopping in an hour to pick her up" Coulson says and him and my brother walk away talking quietly
Fitz leave quickly. Probably to get back to the lab for more experiments
It was only Ward in I in the room now. I start to walk out the door when something grabs my wrist
I look back and its Ward "let go please" I say flatly
"Not until I apologize" He says
I shake my head "Ward, no I dont want you to" I say
"Listen I shouldn't have done what I did and now your uncomfortable around me and thats why your hanging out with Fitz now. So I asked Coulson and he said when we get Agent May gets here she'll be your new S.O." He nods his head and walks out of the room
I let out a sigh. The last thing I need is drama in a plane a thousand feet from the ground with no escape but a parachute
I decide to go back to the lab where I find Fitz working on his drones again
"Seriously Fitz" I laugh
He smiles but continues to work
I stand there watching him fiddle with metal objects
"What are you doing" He asks still not breaking eye contact with the drone
I grin "just watching you" I say "I have a question"
"What is it?" He asks put down the drone and finally looking at me
"Is Agent May scary. Because the stories make her sound badass and... Murderous" I say
He shakes his head "I dont find her frightening but then again its always just me and Simmons in the lab"
I nod "shes my new S.O." I say
He looks at me confused "Why? what happened with Ward?"
"Uh he just- um it's nothing...
Just like uhm" I stutter
"Its fine dont tell me I probably don't even want to know"
I nod and realize I might be uncomfortable around Ward but around Fitz and Skye I can be... Me
