The girls to the right are Alicia and Dahlia; Alicia to the left and Dahlia to the right. I can't seem to make the slide show work so I will post Dahlia's weapon form on the next chapter. Sorry it takes me a while to upload, but my computer can't be used much these days.

The room was lowly light by a couple of candles that decorated each corner of the room. There was a small set of three on the night table beside the bed, the flames threatening to go off at any moment. Light poured into the room when the door was opened and Curran walked in with a tray that held a glass of milk and a small piece of chocolate fudge cake. He walked over to the bed, placed the tray on the night table, and then sat on the bed.

“Alright,” he sighed. “Do you mind telling me what the hell happened for you to end up like this?!”

Eevee averted her eyes to the wall and tried her best to move away from Curran, but Patty had tucked her in far too tight for her to move. Curran was furious at her after he had found her not far away from Maka's flat and had dragged her back to Death Manor. Eevee thought he was being far too dramatic on her condition simply because she had been with Kid. After all, she had gotten more badly hurt when going on missions with him.

“Well, Eevee, are you going to explain what happened?” Curran asked, but Eevee just stuck her tongue out and looked the other way. “I told you to keep away from that freak!”

“Kid had nothing to do with it,” Eevee said with crimson cheeks. “If anyone's to blame, it's you. And that other idiot that had no business being there in the first place. What does he do all day, stalk me?”

“That's what Kid does – ”

“I'm not talking about Kid! I'm talking about that eccentric moron named Black Star,” Eevee told him before she took hold of the plate with the cake.

“I'm sure you can use the word 'eccentric' to describe Kid as well,” Curran told her. “And don't drag me into this! I wasn't even there. I was visiting Madam at the shop, which you also destroyed with your supposed date with Kid!”

Eevee sat in silence eating her cake and blinking several time too much to call natural.

“I didn't do it.”

“Like hell you did,” Curran yelled. “Madam told me you went into the shop to show her – and I'm quoting her directly here – your boyfriend.”

Eevee stopped eating her cake.

Curran raised a brow at her silence.

She blushed a deep red.

“It was true?!”

“Don't be stupid, Curran.” Eevee told him and took a sip of the milk he had brought. “Madam's understanding of us was . . . corrupted?”

Curran's eye twitched. “I don't think you used the correct word there, but enough of that. Tell me what happened before I found you about to pass out minutes away from Soul and Maka's flat.”
