Regina had a plan to in a way make the one she loved feel special. She never told Y/N the truth to why she choose the theme she did, but in her heart she knew just why.
Y/N loved poetry it was her favorite thing in the world. She was told by Regina that others wanted a poetry slam at Granny's so she decided to write a poem too.
The one thing Y/N wanted to do was write the poem for the one she loved most. Regina. Though she had to write it without making it seem like it was about Regina.
"So your poem hows it going?" Regina asks.
"Oh its going fine. I just have to make it not suck. In time for tonight." Y/N says.
"Oh come on Im sure it doesnt suck. Just like Im sure you'll be great out there to night." Regina says.
"Thanks Regina I can always count on you to make me feel better." Y/N says.
Thats when she knew just how to make this poem really perfect. Y/N got up quickly and left to work on her poem some more.
Later that night Regina waited outside for Y/N and when she arrived they both walked inside.
Regina had written a poem that was guest to be about who she was to who she had become. Then it was Y/N's turn. When Y/N took the mic she was nervous, but when her eyes met Regina's she was no longer scared.
The whole time Y/N read her poem everyone listened to the words, but not really to the meaning. Except Regina who then realized that the poem was about her.
"Okay that was are last one and the winner is.... Y/N Y/L/N." Granny says.
As Y/N excepted her prize she saw Regina walk out and went to talk to her.
"Regina you okay?" Y/N asks.
"Yeah I think so, but we need to talk." Regina says.
With her magic she flashed them to her house. Y/N looked around and Regina froze her back towards Y/N.
"Regina whats wrong?" Y/N asks.
"Whats wrong is that poem you wrote it was beautiful and perfect and stop me if Im wrong, but your poem was about me and how you feel towards me." Regina says.
"Yes it was... I guess you hate that." Y/N says.
"No I love it and I love you. I just didnt think you would ever feel the same for me." Regina says.
"Well I do. I guess I was afraid too and Regina I love you too." Y/N says.
"Yeah I know." Regina says and kissed Y/N.
From that time on they knew how the other felt and it made them both very very happy.
