They were both broken,
But neither knew about the other,
Both living a life full of pain,
Until their worlds collided,

They weren't your typical friends
Cause they seemed to be different,
But yet the same in many ways than one,

She didn't have companions
Neither did he,
Both were alone, But both could save each other,
All they had to do was get to know and understand each other,

But that
That was something they couldn't do
Because their social rank was different
But non-existence,

He had deep blue eyes
She had forest green ones,
She wore a dark hoodie
So did he.
Both trying to stay unnoticed from the prying eyes of many,

They met eyes and clicked
Their connection was instant,
And both knew they'd found a true friend in each other,
And all knew that,

They were inseparable,
Did everthing together,
And finally they could smile as they had finally found what was missing,
She finally was able to talk to someone without being ridiculed,

She began to have a light in her eyes as he did,
Their souls began to be mended,
Slowly and slowly they developed a purpose,
They were finally happy with their lives,

But not all good things last,
For all good things must come to an end,
Their story was just about to hit rock bottom,
And there was nothing each could do to save it,

For a broken soul can never be truly saved without breaking it further,
Their beginning was also their end,
An and to their friendship,

Both were broken and no one could save them.

They went back to being worse than they once were.
