Betrayed
that's what he was,
Broken and hurt by those he called friends,
They left him all alone,

Anxiety
It looms over his head like a dark cloud,
Pulls him into its depth,
Depth of pain and suffering,
And he seems to have a liking to it,

Pessimistic
He doesn't believe anymore
Because they took it from him,
Thoughts are but with darkness
And no light shines in him,

Depressed
He can't help but want a way out,
A way to end everything
So he could finally be free,
Free from everything,

He looks in the mirror,
His reflection laughing and taunting him,
'you're pathetic'
It says and a tear rolls down his cheek,

He wishes life wasn't like how it was,
But that's just it,
They are just wishes,
Wishes that will never come true,

He takes one more look at himself,
Before he can't take it anymore and
He does the inevitable,
His body falling limp as he feels the weight being lifted off of him,

'I'm free'
That's what he feels
As a smile adornes his face and his eyes flutter shut.
I finally made my choice.
