What if
What if you woke up and she was gone?
She left everything?
Would you miss her?
Or would you be happy?
She asked herself
"Am I worth it?"
Do I deserve to live?
Can I be something I'm not?
But no answer came
She wondered what would happen
if only she did it
Would she find her heaven or hell?
What if
She wasn't sad anymore?
She had real smiles and not fake?
She was a blooming butterfly?
Would you still like her?
Would you think it was true?
Or would you think it wasn't?
Because you think you know life
What if
She told you the truth?
The truth about everything?
Would you stay?
Or would you leave her alone?
Thoughts of the impossible plague her mind,
They tear her down and
Leave her torn and shattered,
Because they are just thoughts and that's all they'll ever be,
She's been hurt,
Broken and depressed,
Yet you don't notice her hurting,
All you see are her fake smiles and fake humour,
What if
You one day woke up and there she lay
Looking pale as ever,
Blood gushing out of her,
What would you do?
What would you say?
What it
All was lost and nothing could be the same again,
Because she took her life and you couldn't even save her,
Would you cry? Or would you be happy?
