"Pidge, go to sleep already, it's pretty late." A very tired –and a little older- Lance McClain groaned for what seemed like the thousandth time at his newlywed wife.
"Lance, I'm so close to crackingthis Galra code!" She protested to the red paladin lying beside her. "Please? You've been working too long, youneed to rest, Katie." The young woman sighedand put her computer on the floor beside the bed. She then got beneath the warm covers andsnuggled against him. Lance smiledsoftly and ran his fingers through her now longer soft light brown hair, anddid that until they both fell asleep. "Ilove you." Lance whispered in her ear before slowly drifting off.
I know it's short, but I hope you enjoyed it. I actually had to get out of bed for this. On a Saturday. For you people, yeah.
