My Darling Puppet (Marionette x Reader)

Another Author's Note, Unfortunately.

Hullo, again, dear Readers! I appreciate your patience with me, and all the love I have received from you all! You all are so wonderful! Clap and a half goes to you all!

I sincerely apologize with this not being a brand new chapter, I know many of you have been looking forward to a new chapter continuing on. Unfortunately, life got in the way of me continuing,and honestly this was put on the back burner while I had tried to sort my life out together. Again, even that didn't come out as planned, although do not get me wrong, sometimes surprises are the best thing to happen.

Now, I have good news and bad news:

Good news first: I will be continuing this on til completion, albeit it will be slow updates. Between school and a child of my own, I do not have free time like I used to to write freely. I do know how I want to end this story, so I have a goal in mind.

The bad news: At the time of my starting this story, FNAF was still in its infancy. I believe this actually came out before the third installment, so obviously there are a lot of things that have happened. Also, during this time, I wrote this prior to the fandom splitting over the dominion over the name of the Purple Man, and the guards. 

So, what does this mean?

Unfortunately, I have this...irritable need of ensuring that things are true to the lore. It also means that I will be going back through the story and changing names and such, as well as fixing some details. 

At this time, I am unsure about what exactly as I want to do with the puppet, especially since there is some confusion as to what Cawthorn has done with the latest game. Spoiler:In the latest game, it's revealed that the spirit of the puppet is a girl, which contradicts the mini games in FNAF 2. For me, that wouldn't be a huge issue, except just changing the pronouns around. However, this is your story, and it began with the puppet as a male. So, I'm unsure of whether or not just to change it to they pronouns so that way everyone can have a happy story with the puppet, or just keep it the way it is. I am unsure as of right now the course of action I am going to take. 

However, I want to say thank you, once again for being so supportive of me, and I cannot express my gratitude for  you all. Again, I'm sorry this is not a new update, however over the coming weeks, I'll be revising old chapters and hopefully start  new ones.
