AN: Masama bang mag-skip?

Maine is on her 8th month. They just finished her baby shower, and now they're in their room opening presents.

"Love, bigay ni Dad o!"

"Ano yan?"

"Puro bottle ni Thena. Tas... Eto o, gift din ni Dad. Eto daw ung mga damit mo nung baby, ang cute!"

"Masusuotba ni Thena yan eh pang-lalake?"

"Love, it's unisex. She can wear it. Ang liit mo pala nung baby?"

"Yup. Bakit, ikaw hindi ba?"

"Medyo. Pero mas maliit ka!"

"Hindi ah. Grabe ka sakin."

She laughed at him. They continued opening the presents until nothing was left. Maine decided to take a bath, so she tied her hair then went inside the tub. Alden came in a few seconds later, then saw Maine. He stripped off his clothes then went inside the tub with her. He caressed her belly, as she pressed her head to his chest.

"Ang sarap sa pakiramdam no?"

"Yes... Mabigat na ba ko, love?"

"Normal lang po yan. It's because you're carrying another human inside of you."

"Wala pa palang mga gamit si baby Thena no? Eh kung mamili kaya tayo ng mga gamit nya bukas? Tas dapat may theme ung magiging kwarto nya!"

"Anong theme?"

"Yung parang kay Andrew? Puro airplanes ganon."

"Ano kay Athena?"

"Hmmm... Gusto ko sana ung beach theme, pwede ba love?"

"Sure. Kung saan ka masaya, dun din ako masaya. Tsaka alam ko namang mahilig ang love ko sa beach eh."

"Thank you, Love! I love you!"

"Love?"

"Yes, Love?"

"Ano pa ba kailangan ni Thena? Completo na no?"

"Love, bottle sterilizer?"

"Meron na po. Ay love, di pa po tayo kumukuha ng stroller.

"Tara."

He let her walk in front of him, as he pushed their cart.

An hour later...

"Tapos na list natin."

"I'm sure mai-ispoil si Athena."

"Hindi naman, Love. Syempre, kailangan din natin palakihin ng maayos si Athena, at si Andrew, gaya ng pagpapalaki sayo ng mga lola. Syempre, pag nawala tayo, kailangan nilang tumayo sa sarili nilang paa."

"I know. Bayad na tayo?"

After shopping for Thena, they went to the bookstore to buy art materials, children's book, and some learning ones for Andrew. They got home by 5:00 PM, and was greeted by Andrew.

"Mommy!"

"Hello, kuya!"

Andrew ran to his parents then hugged them. Maine leaned down then kissed him on the forehead.

"Have you been a good boy to lola?"

"Yes po! What did you buy, mommy?"

"I bought some things that baby Thena will need, and I bought some things that Kuya will use to have fun."

"Really? Thank you po, Mommy, Daddy! I love you po!"

They ate dinner by 7:30, then tucked Andrew to bed. Maine and Alden cuddled in bed and talk from a little while, until they both fell asleep.

2:27 AM

"Aray!"

Maine screamed which made Alden woke up.

"Love? Anong nangyare sayo? May masakit ba? Saan? Tell me—"

"Alden, ang sakit ng tyan ko!"

She said. Alden quickly stood up then carried Maine.

"I'll take you to the hospital, relax, Love. Lola! Mga lola, tulong po!"

But no one answered. He took his wife to the hospital.
