told from a fan's point of view

"Why do you still watch that show?" My friend asked me.

I shrug. "Because Suga's in it."

She rolls her eyes and goes back to looking at her phone. I do the same as I wait for the subtitles to load.

The episode starts off with the two on the floor of the room they had renovated. Risa was laughing with a huge smile on her face and talking. Nobody bothered to translate her words.

Suga sat there with an expression always face. I frowned. Maybe he's tired or had a bad day.

At first, I didn't really like the couple. Suga didn't seem to mesh with anybody and Risa was taller and older than him. They didn't look like a perfect couple.

But then they started bonding and I began to see the chemistry.

Risa actually reminded me a lot of Rise, who I had previously shipped with Suga. It was ironic how they were friends.

The couple receives a red envelope and as always, Suga reads it in korean.

"To Suga and Risa. It's time for you two to put the renovated room into use. Suga, teach your wife... Risa." He pauses for a second. "Teach her the choreography to a song of your choice."

Risa claps. "Oooh! I've always wanted to learn a choreography! I think that was one of the things I suggested when they first asked me why I wanted to do for WGM."

The video cuts back to Risa a few months ago (judging from her hairstyle) in the interview room and answering the question displayed at the bottom of the screen: what do you wish to do with your husband?

She contemplates for a minutes before replying. "I don't know. I'd love to go ice skating with him. And... if he's an actor, do a re-enactment or skit with him. If he's a singer or idol, then it'd be fun to learn a dance or song."

It cuts back to them in the room. They're standing and Yoongi's on his phone. He plays the song through one time and there are some flashing shots of BTS. Like the song needs promoting.

Suga starts teaching Risa the dance moves, staying serious and instructive.

Hmm. Never knew that he had this serious side to him when it came to his profession.

Risa, on the other hand, was playful and it made a great balance. However, she didn't seem to be good at dancing.

It was evident that Suga was becoming frustrated. Risa learned everything slowly and messed up quite a lot. I could see why she's an actor.

But Suga, being the nice person that he is, kept on smiling and encouraging her.

"Okay, now do think you're ready?" Suga asks in a calm voice.

"I don't know. Do you think I am?" Risa asks.

"I think you've memorized the choreography a long time ago," he replies.

Aw. He has faith in her. I felt kind of sad that the finale was next week. I wonder if they are as well.

Suga didn't give Risa any chance to protest. He believed in her enough. DNA started playing in the stereos and they both start to dance the choreo for it.

Risa copies each of the movements, though it looked a little awkward. Probably because she had less than a day to learn it.

In the interview room, Suga agreed with my claim. "She learned really quickly. Just like when playing the piano."

The episode ends with that and the teaser for next week's finale episode comes up.

They're at a hotel...? It looked like one. They were talking face to face at a table. Suga's back is to the camera while Risa is smiling at him.

I sigh. I wasn't going to like when this ended.

I freeze. Wait... wasn't there going to be a wedding? There's always a wedding, wasn't there?

Surely, it couldn't be at the end. Why wasn't there a wedding?

Something was wrong. Did something happen? I push my suspicion aside. Nah. Maybe Global WGM is different.

I stretch, closing out of the tab and throwing a pillow to my friend. "Done watching your show?"

I nod then shake my head. "Last episode's next week. So not exactly done."

My friend rolls her eyes. "Yeah whatever. Let's watch the performance for DNA at the amas and the mamas and the-"

I chuckle. "Yeah yeah, I got it."
