i cant escape
my nightmares
they grip me in their claws
and haunt me
whenever i close my eyes
(a/n: this isn't a metaphor btw. i literally can't escape my nightmares lol. every time i try to go back to sleep they come back. it's only when i get up and start my day do they disappear. thank god i don't get them very often lol)
