when you planted the seed,
we didn't know what would grow,
and you thought you were doing a good deed,
but you didn't know about the snow.
however, the seedling sprouted
and out grew a lemon tree.
i watched as you doubted
when you stared at the citrus you see
and i said to you,
what's wrong?
and you turned to me with a smile
and said,
i love lemons.
