Blaze always loved the SandWing palace because of its long walkways, sunny climate and endless seas of jewels. So Queen Thorn, compassionate as she is, lets her return to her old chambers and live there.
They start talking and eventually become best friends. Blaze takes her on shopping trips to get her claws done and comb her spikes. She's the biggest Thornder shipper and always offers them advice about each other. Thorn asks her for outfit advice (as it turns out, she has an amazing fashion taste) and eagerly listens to the palace gossip.
They have sleepovers and inside jokes and basically just learn to be girly girls together.
