Chapter 3

Connor and I were drinking Frappichinos for frappichino happy hour.

Between giggles he blew bubbles into his drink. He was so silly.

"I love you.." he said unexpectedly.

I switched our drinks "I love you too baby" and took a sip of his.

"What'd you do that for?!" He asked, whining and wanting his drink back.

"So I could try yours. Try mine."

He did reluctantly and surprisingly liked the caramel flan.

"You usually get the Java Chip"

"Yes." I agreed

"Why not this time?"

"I wanted to try something new."

"What if you decide not to get me, and try a new boyfriend?" Sounding worried.

"I won't, I promise." I just finished my drink so I slipped it into the trash bin.
"Anyways, you done?" Nodding toward his drink.

He shook his hand but got up from his seat.

"Want to walk home?" He asked me.

"Sure."

It started sprinkling when we got to the street of the O2L house.

"Come on hurry!" I laughed and tugged on his arm.

"But I love the rain!"

"Well I don't like my hair getting messed up."
I noticed he wasn't going to run any faster so I went beside him and held his hand nicely.
When we were a couple driveways down he slowed down to toss his cup into a recycling bin on the street, standing behind me and putting his arms around my waist.

"That's not helping us get in any sooner you know." I said, being stubborn.

"Would you rather me walk in front?" He teased while walking backwards in front of me to slow me down.

He stopped and Locked his arms around my waist again and leaned in for a kiss.

I could feel him smiling through his lips.

A huge thunder sound cracked from the sky and scared me, parting our kiss.

"Why you all the way back there silly?!

He laughed and motioned me to catch up to him, we were soaked by now.
